Sexual Offences Curriculum
Sexual Offences Education: Law, Social Context and Practice Curriculum
The Curriculum is about sexual offences in the Victorian criminal justice system. Each topic in the Curriculum comprises:
- an outline of the area of study
- a description of previous learning approaches
- legislation and cases
- papers and presentations previously used in judicial and professional legal education
- an extensive list of other relevant resources.
The Curriculum is intended to assist organisations involved with judicial and professional legal education to design consistent and quality programs by taking account of work already done by others. The resources and references included in the Curriculum provide an ongoing library of material to assist judicial officers, practitioners and other professionals involved in sexual offence matters in Victoria.
The Curriculum reflects the law as at 1 July 2008. Papers and presentations contained within the Curriculum reflect the law as at the time of their creation (specified within).
